Intro

Warmachine players, welcome back to Attack-X! We haven’t been able to see each other for far too long and so it’s time to see some familiar faces, throw some dice, have a few drinks, and make some new happy memories!

To register for Warmachine events just sign up under Warmachine. It will be a generic ticket to play whatever events you want. Sign ups for actual events will be the Friday or day of event.

Housekeeping

  • Come to play hard but also to have fun
  • Print out two lists for each event you plan to play in (one for you and one for the organizers/spare)
  • Bring all the models you have in your lists, and glue for repairs
  • Don’t touch other people’s models without their permission
  • You should agree what all terrain is BEFORE the game starts
  • Treat each other with respect
  • If you have an issue (game-wise or personal) try to maturely work it out yourselves first and then contact a judge only if required
  • Once the game is started do not pause your clock. If you call a judge THEY will tell you if you should pause your clock
  • Judge calls, although not always perfect, are final. (This is why you try to resolve it yourself first)
  • Once your game is done submit your results, clean away your models, and set up the next scenario as instructed by the organizer.
  • At the end of the day we are all gamers here to have a great time, so have a great time ????

In the interest of time this will be using only 1 list, no specialists, and will be best of 1. Each player will get 35 minutes on their clock, and 5 minutes will be allowed for pairing decisions.

Pairings will be done by rolling off to see what table each team is starting on, each team will put the list of one of their players on the table, and then walk over and decide which of their remaining 2 players will be playing against it. The player of each team that hasn’t been selected yet will face each other on the last table.

Cheating/Mistakes

If anything is done that is against the rules, either intentionally or by mistake, the organizers maintain the right to determine the appropriate corrective action.

The best thing for you to do is double check that your lists follow the rules of the format, and if you or your opponent make a mistake just politely bring it up and do your best to resolve it immediately and in a way you are both satisfied with. Escalate only as necessary.
